The 21st annual Salute to Women honored seven women for their work within the Great Falls community Saturday.
The honoree for the Business and Professional award was Vicki Bertelsen.

The Education award was given to both Sharon Lindstrom and Sally Mathers for their joint efforts within their school.

Lynette Robbins was honored for Volunteer Work and Community Service, while the Creative Arts and Communication award went to Candra Oakes-Niswanger.

Amanda Scott won the Health and Human Services award for her work and the Young Woman of Tomorrow is Christina Keller.

“A lot of these women take for granted what they do, it just comes second nature to them,” said YWCA Executive Director Autumn Frey. “To be recognized for this is a shock to them, so it’s incredible to see their faces when they’re first notified that they received this award.”

Frey said a lot of people don’t realize the effect they have on their community.
